comprising your fully integrated solution for electronic communication management. This family of products includes E-Trail Digital Archive, E-Trail Digital Archive
ASP, E-Trail Digital Archive Lite, E-Trail DA Outlook Plug-in, E-Trail DA Exchange Gateway, E-Trail DA Reporter, and E-Trail DA Miner. Clients can use these products to
achieve regulatory compliance (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC, NASD, NYSE), to dramatically reduce electronic discovery costs in the event of litigation, to enhance mailbox
management capabilities resulting in reduced email plant costs (reduced server, storage and upgrade costs), to create a knowledge base of corporate communication information,
and to improve compliance with internal policies.
E-Trail Digital Archive/E-Trail Digital Archive ASP
The E-Trail Digital Archive is the heart of the product suite comprising the core application that is responsible for capturing, processing, storing, and
retrieving electronic communications. It runs on a large number of platforms and infrastructures using any relational database that supports the JDBC standard interface.
It can store its electronic communication’s data in a large number of storage devices including standard IDE drives, RAID drives, SAN storage, and NAS storage.
In addition, specialty compliance storage devices such as IBM DR-550 and EMC Centera are fully supported.
E-Trail Digital Archive is available through an Enterprise License (starting at $8,000) or as a fully outsourced/hosted application service (starting at $8/user/month).
E-Trail Digital Archive Lite
E-Trail Digital Archive Lite is our archive product specifically geared towards small companies of 50 employees or less. It can be downloaded
from the internet and quickly installed on a client’s infrastructure. License costs are only $1900.
E-Trail DA Outlook Plug-in
E-Trail DA Outlook Plug-in is a downloadable, auto-installed plug-in for your MS-Outlook mail client. The plug-in provides seamless integration between any of the
E-Trail Digital Archive core products and the client’s mailbox. Users execute E-Trail queries by clicking on a simple icon on their Outlook mailbox command line.
This product is often used with E-Trail DA Exchange Gateway to provide full mailbox management support.
E-Trail DA Exchange Gateway
E-Trail DA Exchange Gateway is a product that provides clients will full mailbox management for MS-Exchange or any IMAP mailbox server. Using this product,
clients can implement email policies
on their Exchange or IMAP servers determining when email should be automatically deleted (e.g. delete email that is more than N days old, delete the oldest email from mailboxes
that use more than N megabytes of storage). Emails are not deleted from the servers, but are replaced with a small proxy containing the necessary data for E-Trail Digital
Archive to retrieve the original email and its attachments from the archive. Users continue to see the email headers in their Outlook clients. Double-clicking these headers
will seamlessly retrieve the email/attachments from the archive.
E-Trail DA Reporter
E-Trail DA Reporter is a fully integrated, ad hoc reporting utility for the E-Trail Digital Archive. It can be used to produce useful statistical information about the
electronic communications stored in the archive.
E-Trail DA Miner
E-Trail DA Miner is a fully integrated data mining utility for the E-Trail Digital Archive. Implemented with the open source products, the utility provides a plethora of data
cube reporting, charting, and analysis operations.
E-Trail DA PST Importer
E-Trail DA PST Importer is an administrative tool that allows an authorized user to import a pst format mailbox into Etrail Digital Archive.
