The E-Trail Digital Archive Outlook Add-In is an Outlook client component that provides a seamless integration between Outlook and E-Trail Digital Archive for mailbox management and advance search capabilities.
Through the use of E-Trail Digital Archive Outlook Add-In companies can automatically delete emails from their email servers based on a policy ( e.g. all
emails more than 60 days old, the oldest emails in any mailbox that exceeds a company specified storage maximum) replacing them with Outlook stubs that when
double-clicked by a user will result in the retrieval and display of the original email from the E-Trail Digital Archive. This procedure will work for MS-Exchange, IMAP or POP3 mail servers.
In addition, users are able to query the E-Trail Digital Archive fro their email from their Outlook client resulting in a new Outlook folder
with the requested messages.
